The one thing in "MGTOW-land" that incenses me the most is how many men/YT content creators and the public at large parrot the same old trope, "Women were brainwashed by feminism", yet will NOT mention the obvious connotations of that statement. By doing so, they completely grant them lack of agency and responsibility, as if they finally succumbed to some overwhelmingly powerful mind-control regimen. When women make this collective claim, they inadvertently consign themselves to the idiot-pile; when men use this trope, they remove all agency from them, which I actually see as a subconscious form of white-knighting. Horsefeathers! The following example is my favorite to describe this falsehood...
Take an 18yo young man in his physical prime. He wants to run track in college. "Society" tells him "no, go do drugs, party, explore and find yourself, live dangerously, get in a motorcycle wreck or two...then enroll in college in your 30's. You'll still be able to compete!" All your average young man has to do is look at his father, uncles, the man across the street, or young men in college sports to realize that he is entering the window of his prime physicality and it will begin to wane in his late 20's. He'd say, "My dad is 40, my uncle is 36, no WAY they could compete with those racehorses in college!" He would literally have to be an absolute imbecile to think otherwise with the biological evidence all around him. Seriously, how many young men do you think you could fool with this garbage, no matter how many times it was repetitively thrown at them? Besides idiots, perhaps a few socially/geographically isolated boys that had no other biological comparisons around them to make.
So, HOW do you 'brainwash' a beautiful, young woman in her prime physicality into believing she can delay mating (with youthful beauty/physicality being THE prime attribute) until her 30's and she will "still be able to compete"? You look at your age-worn, out of shape mother with crow's feet and instinctively know there is no way she could compete with you anymore in that department. Same with her aunts, women down the street or at the store. It is simply making the most basic biological observation that one, woman or man, is at their most 'beautiful' in that particular window of youth. Yes, some men gain a more seasoned gravitas over time, as some women do in their own way; but, we're not talking about 5% of the population, but the other 95%. You would have to have the IQ of a simpleton to believe something contrary to all of the biological evidence seen around you on a daily basis.
IMO, this only presents an obvious, harsh truth. A young woman actually has the reasoning capacity of a moron, yet the 'brainwashing' trope provides them an easy out without having to tell them(selves) they're an idiot. "I'm smart, I was only fooled by the most advanced super-intelligence in the known world!" The trope also allows men, many quasi-MGTOW included, to still cling to the notion that women really are kind, nurturing creatures with everyone's best interests at heart, they were simply "tricked". You can guess which way I'm leaning...if you watch a video from an anti-feminist that says they were brainwashed into believing all of that nonsense, then straight up tell them that they must have the IQ of a moron, and if that is the case, why do they have the right to vote or make any decisions of substance in society at all?
Perhaps I have worded this poorly, and my early-morning thoughts are not always in order. In short, they are simply imbeciles with child-like minds. It did not require 'brainwashing' or any other Machiavellian plan to fool them. It was as simple as fooling a child into believing some nonsense. Have you ever done the "got your nose!" gag on your child/niece/nephew with your thumb stuck between your two fingers? You didn't "brainwash" them into believing you snatched it from their face, you simply took advantage of a child's IQ level. I'm done, make of this what you want.....GYOW!
