nothing wrong with denying anything be it religion or science .... which is largely just theoretical whenever it comes to thing such as black holes and the such. not that i'm denying science myself.

The problem is that "Evo Psych" is "Just So Stories" with a pseudo-sciencey-candy coating.

Disagreeing with any particular "evo-psych" theory (and there are an infinite number; nearly all of which contradict each other)... is not "science denial" -- it certainly (more importantly) isn't "reality denial" (which alas a lot of what purports to be "science" actually IS).

Fairly good recent book on this is Hallpike's Ship of Fools: An Anthology of Learned Nonsense about Primitive Society -- which FACTUALLY debunks a whole shitload of bullshittery around the trendy stuff in anthropology/sociology and "evo psych."
