I'd be careful about putting too much stock into claims like this. Certainly bad diet is likely to have some influence but there are so many other causes that also contribute to male infertility.

I'm sure that just being treated like a piece of shit by almost every female in a male's life from birth onwards is going to have some effect too! Mind over matter and all that.

I'm guessing it has more to do with processed carbs. Protein and fat are good for you. Eating a double QPer with Cheese and tossing the bread isn't the same thing as eating a double QPer with the bread, large fries, and a large Coke. The carbs are spiking your blood sugar which you don't want and then when your sugar levels drop you'll get hungry again.
