It's been almost 2 months since I heard about MGTOW, and since then I read this sub, watch youtube videos, and I even read a few books! I did the same with the other sub, red pill, for some time I was intrigued by them, but soon realized that they all still chase women and that is not my path.
I am 28 years old man, and I would say that I pretty much had a mindset of MGTOW since the early years, but like all young people, I was conditioned to believe in Love, having a relationship, family, etc. It was such a drag.
I was in 2 "long-lasting" relationships, one of 4 years, other of 2 years. Both of them I finished. With both girls I talked for maybe few weeks after it and then never again, they are angry at me for dumping them.
Oh well, the reason I dumped them?
I just didn't feel like I want to spend my life with them and it was logical and natural for me to finish the relationship at that point. They were even alright girls, they didn't give me many problems so I didn't really have some other big reason to leave them.
They were not the only girls in my life, I had my share of fun too, after all, I am a sexual being, but all others were just some fun.
The thing is though, I never felt this so-called Love. What is it? How does it feel? The only thing I felt was an urge to fuck those girls, have some intimate time, have a sexy talk and even a talk about important things. I am joking, I never had a talk about important things in life cuz they all were shallow as fuck. They could only listen, but not give anything worth of listening, they just didn't put any time into thinking or discovering. Empty talks 100% of the time are no way for me to have a relationship with someone.
I was weak I must say. I didn't believe into me. I didn't want to believe that I actually wanted to spend more time alone, just with me, away from them, not answering any text message for days. Not meeting them, dating them. I wanted to watch a movie from the start to finish without receiving messages of why I am not answering. It was such a drag how much energy and time did I waste for them. I come from a religious family, I was a part of the church for many years until I became an atheist. I was programmed to think that I need to love and to care. So I tried to do that. And it felt so unnatural. Like I was not aligned with myself.
I had thought of not being in a relationship, to not get married, to not leave with a female under the same roof. I had thought of living alone, living for myself, the way I want, how I want, without anyone interrupting any of my moves. I never had a feeling that I need a lover in my life. Friends are enough!
I realized that I was not honest to myself, so I changed it all. This is my life, this is my reality. I am just one person on this planet, one of the billions. For sure 99,99 of people would not care what I am doing in my life, so I can, without any guilt, just live honestly and in a way that makes me happy and energetic.
It has been 3 years since my last relationship. I love every bit of it.
I am finishing my 2nd college. I play the guitar. I watch tv shows and movies. I am learning about the digital marketing, just got the certificate from google digital garage, I am enrolled in digital marketing academy, I am listening to podcast about marketing, about philosophy, about science. I am learning programme in UE4 (I am doing it cuz I love games, and I think that it is good to have something in life that will last for a long time, it is good to always have something to do, and programming will take me years and decades to learn so I am set for a life to always have something to do!). Learning video and photo editing, learning how to compose a music. There are just so many things to do!
A month ago I quit a job in one of the best companies in the world - L'Oreal. I was surrounded by 70% of women, and 29% of blue pilled "men". I felt horrible. The pay was great, but all I did was just following how things are done, and I want to be able to try to do things on my own way cuz that is the only way I can really learn. Yeah, it kinda sucks not to have a job at the moment, but it is alright, I will find a new one where I will enjoy it more.
Since I met you guys, I realized I was alright. The way I was thinking was alright. There was nothing wrong with me, I was not really a black sheep. I felt such warmth. Really guys. I can't describe you just how many fights I had in my head...it is hard when you are led to believe that you should behave and live a certain way but you just can't.
Finding MGTOW felt like I stopped being Sisyphus! Finally, I found people who think my way! I am happier than ever before. And learning some added truths about women, about society, reading all the horrible things happened to many of you, I can't but not even strongly being set in my ways.
Keep being awesome guys, there are those of us who didn't have problems with women, we were not divorce raped, had children taken away, those of us who were not abused, or even used. But we still felt like something is not right, but we were bombarded that we should behave in certain ways and it felt like a prison we couldn't escape without feeling like a shitty person.
MGTOW is a key out of the prison.
