Basal metabolism varies, but if you do nothing the whole day you probably burn 1500 calories as a man and 1200-1300 as a woman. It also depends on which country you are in, in the US the recommended intake is 2200 for men and 2000 for women. In most Europe, 1800-2000 and 1400-1600, respectively. I can tell you that as a 40 year old man, at 5'11", working from home due to lockdowns, I need 1400 max, and can do well with 1200 a day for a week.

I have recently experienced something similar. I was in a relationship with this woman 10-11 years ago, caught her cheating and broke up with her. She contacted me a few times and we had some genuinely good conversations in the past years. I told her I was living a happy life, doing well with my new girlfriend (well, at that time; then she broke up with me on her birthday after 9 years) and she told me she had started a new career and blah blah blah. A few months ago, she called me on my phone (…

It may be because I am tired and not caffeinated enough, but to me it looks like the 3/1000 is the number of women that have reported a rape, which is not the same as saying that 0.3% of men are rapist. But I think the number is not far off, anyway.

SD is wonderful for a few reasons. It is a beautiful city, with a small yet lively downtown. Clean, it smells nice, and the ocean is as good as it gets. Lovely walks just outside the city (Coronado Island, La Jolla), friendly people, damn good food at very reasonable prices. Climate is also very favourable, even in winter. I have been there 5 times between November and February, I had 1 day of rain and came back to Europe quite tanned. I am not a big fan of American cities, as I find them quite …

Well, I'm from Europe so my trip is even longer. I generally fly to Vegas because it is cheap, and then I fly to San Diego (which is my favourite city in the US) for the rest of the holidays. As I said before, and someone else said too, if you want to go to Vegas, you want to enjoy it and live it to the full. Going to cheap hotels, maybe even far from the action, is not really worth it in my opinion. Save your money for something else. Vegas is a city where you MUST spend money to experience som…

It is fun, max 2 nights though. The Freemont is much more fun that the Strip, in my opinion. Definitely not my favourite place on this planet, but it can be fun. Try to land/get there at night, so you can be fully shocked by the lights. Food is expensive, ridiculously expensive unless you go the fast food route. I recommend the Heart Attack Grill, because it is just too silly to be true; burgers are decent and not extortionate. Sleeping may also be expensive, best time to book via the usual webs…

Short answer: no. Long answer: I have been having a genuinely good relationship for almost a year now, with someone who is almost half my age at the moment, and enjoying every single moment out of it. Told her from day 1: if you want to be with me, you follow my rules (which, to be fair, are basically "be a decent person") and let me live my life. We don't cohabitate, we live in different towns, have different jobs, have our own hobbies, and so far so good. When I get triggered, I tell her to le…

I am an associate professor at Uni, same things here. You may think it gets better, but it is not. Whining students, whining senior management, whining family, working like crazy because we are understaffed, no appreciation. I still like part of the job, mainly teaching and doing a bit of research, but all the rest is just unbearable. I had the opportunity to change my career, but the company who wanted to hire me did not offer enough, financially. Next chance, though, I take it.

So true, and they start from early morning. They can barely keep their eyes open, but they can nag for sure!!! That's why I always wake up very early when I sleep at my girlfriend's. I had told her that I need to start my day by taking time to meditate and relax, needless to say after a few weeks it was all about her being annoyed at whatever just because. I leave at 5:15 every time, do whatever the fuck I want until I have to go to work, without having to listen to a constant rant or even bette…

The two things are not mutually exclusive, though. As long as you are in a relationship but live your life, without kneeling to her will and demands, you are fine. If she really likes you, she will be with you. If she leaves, you have nothing to regret or cry about because you have done what you wanted anyway.

And just to add, I am an associate professor at Uni. I think I know how to find publications, how to read the articles, and how to tell whether the data are to be trusted or not. It is my daily job, you know. Peer-reviewing. Students thesis. PhD thesis. My bread and butter. So yeah, educate me on how these data -collected and analysed by liberal, progressive researchers, not macho men- are inflating the biological differences.

Let's start with saying no society in the Western World tell young women they are not suited for STEM. The absolute opposite happens, I would say. Now to reply to your point about society. Please have a look at the Scandinavian paradox. No social/societal pressure, incentive to be equal, and you know what happened? Even fewer women in STEM. So when you minimise the effect of societal pressure (nurture), biological difference are amplified. Some are rebutting, and they say that women in Scandinav…

Many publications have suggested that there is a major difference in interest between men and women. Men are interested in "things", whereas women are more interested in "people". We are talking about distributions here, so there is no black and white situation, there is an overlap. The difference is remarkable, as it is around 1 standard deviation; which means that a woman to be as interested in "things" as the average man (and average is key, here) needs to be more interested in things than 85…

Not relevant, sorry. And very ignorant, too. We are talking about normal people, and normal people always had a place to sleep and something to eat. On the other hand, in modern USA, best country in the world, people sleep on the street and eat their own shit. But hey, you can have an iPhone!!! Far from being a communist supporter, but I can't stand lies or uninformed opinions.

It took me a while to recover, but I am all fine now, thanks. The guy came back to me, did not apologise but said something like "I regret what I have done because I made my life and your life miserable, and I lost a friend and a partner". Of course, he did not even think for a second that I was the one who had originally lost a friend and a partner... THOT is doing bad, she is fully depressed, delusional, having lots of financial issues... so nothing new.

38 here, and I always been attracted to 22-25 y/o female individuals. I think that under 22 are still kids and they are not fully developed (i.e., babyface, not well-defined body shape) and over 25 they start to get too insecure, and you can see that reflected in the way they look.

The first couple of months were difficult, even because I wanted to stay a monk but had quite some nice women gravitating around me once they had come to know I was single. Hi fellow teacher, I am a university lecturer in the UK, will try to answer your questions as well as I can. how much discrimination do you feel for being a male in education? None and a lot at the same time. When it is about teaching, students love me for what I am: a very good educator (I won several awards in the past years). However, guess what? I am a lecturer at one good University in the UK with a long tradition of teaching excellence. I see this shit every day. True, but at least there is some foundation to this claim because we know -as we have all experienced it- that women are more than happy to 1) sleep around, which makes them sluts and 2) get as much money and material benefits from a relationship in exchange for sex, which makes them whores. of course there are some exceptions, but the trend is too evident to just ignore and discard like you did. And yes, men are no angels either, but the "bad, abusive men" are definitely a minority compared to …

- you are too lazy to "improve" yourself. This, to me, is the major problem with "normal" people. They don't realise that being in a relationship more often than not just stops your "improvement". It does not make you want to be a better man,you don't aim high anymore, you are just content with what you have next to you. I have seen many successful men, including myself, really soar once they decided to go their own way. Spending time with women, even the best ones, doesn't allow you to work on …

One thing I really like about getting older, is that I don't have any dreams anymore. I set rational aims, and churn methodically every tiny objective to get there. Every little achievement is a success, and makes life easier to manage. It is not about being defeatist, it is about being realistic. As you correctly stated, you wake up with a bitter taste in your mouth instead of motivation. That's the problem with dreams; they are just an idealisation of what you want, on getting from A to B... b…

I found out that she had been cheating on me with her salsa instructor who also happened to be my friend. And not once, for a couple of years, apparently. The relationship before that ended up in a similar way. But I was younger back then, and thought I made something wrong and took the blame (and I was not to blame). So the last relationship made me realise that …

Cut the calories, and track your daily food intake. That should be enough. One week of oatmeal ONLY, 1000 kcal/day. This will help you lose water and have a relatively balanced intake (no fat). After that, go for no more than 1200 kcal/day for 1 month and see how it goes. If all goes fine, you should lose roughly 20 lbs in these 5 weeks. Better keep the carbs down, but don't get rid of those completely.

I believe we will go back to the classics and reconsider homosexual relationships mainly as a consequence of a major gender segregation. Women will go back to what they were at the times of the Romans, in the best case scenario for them; worst case scenario, like they were in the ancient Greek society.

I think every single thing on this planet is beyond women's control, because women can't even control themselves.

Probably not a Chad, but quite handsome and charming. I could have had, and still could despite being almost 40, plenty of sexual partners, but I never really cared. I indulged a few times, but I have always liked relationships better. Why did I go my own way? First, the way my last relationship ended after 9 years; that was an eye opener. Second, because the women I have been dating after my breakup have been as shallow as it gets. Third, because one women I have dated for a few weeks was marri…

Fellow Italian, don't worry. You won't miss much. Relationships are way overrated: there are definitely some pros, but at the end of the day not enough to justify all the shit you have to go through. Marriage is the end of your life, so if you wanna die in your 20s, go ahead, knock yourself out. You are still young, if you want casual sex I am sure you can get plenty by going to the club regularly. And yes, sex is another thing that is overrated. It is fun for a while, but then it gets pretty bo…

Nope, been there done that. Ended up in humiliation and less money in the bank. Not worth it. She is trying for the third time now after 9 years we split up... She asked me to pay for her visa to come over and see me, and talk about us face to face. I laughed at her, she cried. Her husband apparently is not wanting to give her some money to come over here. Pity, sorry for her and for him.

I would say I respect your idea, but I don't agree. Saying that men degenerated because they stopped worshipping god is just an absurd premise. Feminism itself is not the cause, either. In its original incarnation, it made sense and it was well justified. The problem is that society does not control ignorance and sees rationalism and reason as negative traits in the individuals. End of the day, every single person is entitled to say whatever they want (which is fine) but no argument or discussio…

I have been to San Diego a few times, and went twice to Tijuana. It is a shithole, to be honest, but a fun place to go as a tourist. Don't want to comment about women, seeing clearly underage girls selling their bodies for a few bucks makes me wanna puke.

Paradoxically, women. I like to see them as wild animals in the zoo, and observe their behaviour. Predicting their next move, their next sentence, avoiding shit tests and so on. Apart from that, I have been going back to my old hobbies. Finally recording a long due album and studying mathematics.

Respect me, and I will respect you. Where respect means many different things. See me as a person, not as a man. Listen to what I say, I may be wrong, you may be wrong, but together we will find a synthesis and make it better. If you are my partner, don't cheat on me. If I want to be left alone, leave me alone. And I can go on. These should be common sense rules in every society, but if we still have to state all these points in 2018 makes me think something has gone wrong, somewhere. As for cho…

Women apply the philosophy of "it's not the kill It's the thrill of the chase" I agree, go for a drink, even buy her one, and you will be fine. You come out as a polite person who simply does not give a damn about her (or any other woman, for that matter). I have been doing this lately, and really enjoy it. Once you show who is in control, women tend to drop their mask and be "better creatures", especially when you know you won't have to deal with them.

I think Jiu Jitsu is the way to go. It is fun to learn and practice, and it is really useful. Some schools they include some elements of Aikido as well, which works nicely. But any martial art will do, honestly, as long as you can control yourself.

In my opinion, no. But this doesn't mean that you have to be a pussy slave. Just live your life, and don't chase women, or don't lose sleep over them. If you like someone, and in your 20s it is something that happens, go for her but be straight and direct. As soon as she derails, leave her, no hard feelings. Not necessarily pump and dump, you can allow some sort of relationship. Also, I think you need to experience shit yourself to fully appreciate the GTOW idea. Reading stories helps, but livin…

To me, it is something similar to the LaVeyan Satanism. LaVey's teachings promoted "indulgence", "vital existence", "undefiled wisdom", "kindness to those who deserve it", "responsibility to the responsible" and an "eye for an eye" code of ethics, while shunning "abstinence" based on guilt, "spirituality", "unconditional love", "pacifism", "equality", "herd mentality" and "scapegoating". This is probably the best way I can put it.

37 y/o here, went my own way in January. Not against dating and casual relationships (not necessarily pump and dump), but don't want to go for anything serious. With regards to dating and meetups, I changed my attitude. I don't initiate contact, I wait for a woman to approach me. I am charming (this is what I have been told by men and women, so not my personal opinion) and generally I have 2-3 women a night coming over to talk. I play safe, I don't disclose any personal information, sometimes I …

I struggle to read the article. "We were about to have sex, you said no, I said OK no worries, I left. Twenty years later I want to apologise because I realised I did not ask for consent. I feel very bad about it." Bloody hell, you were making out in bed, I guess she didn't mind your company and attention... And you have done right, you just stopped when she said to stop. What's bad and worth an apology here? Nothing happened, no hard feelings.

I got burnt twice in my life, thinking I was dealing with unicorns but instead I had been merely financing two AWALT. I had been with this young beautiful lady 12 years ago, for 3 years. I was in my mid 20s, she was a few years younger. She was beautiful, intelligent, caring, independent, full of life. She never asked for anything, she showed me unconditional love. She valued her life and her personal development, and she let me live my life too. We never lived to together, and even sleepovers w…

I don't know, really. Most of the time I ignore their blah blah and just ask them to come to a conclusion/decision. Most of the time, I pretend to care and then I do it my own way. And most of the time, my way works much better than what was originally agreed upon. But some times, you have to do it their way and it is appalling

It depends on the depth of the relationship. I personally love to have casual conversations with women, on very shallow topics. If the conversation gets a bit too personal, I just steer it away or just leave. However, dealing with women on a daily basis, be it work or relationship, it is another story. Being stubborn/close minded is the major issue for me; and if you try and reason, they put you down and tell you that you know everything and you want to impose your ideas. I work in an environmen…

AWALT #2 is my experience too, without the STD part. Replace "military service" with "away for work". But lately, and for no reasons, I have been receiving texts and calls from my exes saying that they miss me and they want to come back with me (and even more, see the thread about wanting my semen). I just smile at it, and I love to see the body of the enemy floating by. I have to say, I have been weak once, lately. I also told her that I have been missing her and you know what? She said "then c…

We live in two different countries, and chances of meeting up in person are basically zero. But I called the "postal police" and informed them about the incident and I have been told that, if she still threatens me, I could file for legal actions for sexual harassment and extortion. They also told me to keep a record of all my flight tickets to her countries, in case she wants to accuse me of any sort of physical assault/violence on a specific date. Thanks for your support, guys

Sometimes, even doing nothing is good. I used to do many things and try to keep myself very busy. I still do, but I give myself 2-3 days a week of doing nothing at all. It frees my mind and resets my biological rhythm. When I want to keep myself busy, I do play and write music, I exercise, and I study for my third master degree. If I have the chance, I go for walks and stop by a few pubs to talk to strangers and have a nice pint. Since I fully embraced MGTOW 6-7 months ago, my social life has se…

I don't help them, it's their choice. How do I deal with them? Well, I lost most of my friends once they got married because they simply stop being themselves. And when they try to be what they used to be, it is just fake. Brainwashed, this is what they are. In my experience, there is a switch, a triggered that it is activated on wedding day. I saw friends changing overnight, I am not joking. Fact, after a few years they all regret and they envy me because I am still single/unmarried.

If you want to be romantic and caring, do go help old people. Forget about romance with a woman. It is just not worthy, it only breaks your heart even more. I had some very good long relationships in the past, but the last one was an eye-opener. I started off as a strong man, I was indifferent to her compliments, treat her well without spoiling her... all well until I started to get more romantic, to think about family and so on. We bought a family car, we bought a house, and she dumped me after…
