Imagine being one of the highest paid musicians in the world and bitching about it. A quarter million would definitely put you in the 1% of that category.

Yet she is suing because a man with seniority and a reputation, who was head hunted to play for BSO, in a more demanding role, gets paid 30% more.

I hope she loses the case, loses the job, and finds out what the street value of a musician actually is, busking for coins down the subway.

There is a common logic fallacy in this article. It is a proven fact that the more women enter a profession the more the wages in that job go down. This is because of the well researched fact that adding more workers in any industry depresses wages, and not anything to do with women.

More labor = Lower wages

Less labor = Higher wages

She asked big raises for years and did not get them. If She isn’t happy with it she should get a better job. If O was the guy I would leave the company the moment they equal pay her when Im a more rare resource, have more xp and have a harder job.
