Maybe the real reason so many kids books are about boys is because each book has a lesson to learn in it - and it’s usually about changing a boys behaviour.

Certainly flies in the face of all the feminists citing over 90% of kids books are about boys with girls in the background rarely saying anything.

Could also be that boys are (were) more fun and get up to more hi-jinks and are fun to write about.

So many possibilities to counter the feminist narrative.

Gosh it’s even in the old He-Man cartoons.
