We've been getting conditioned to believe in chivalry this whole time, even as young boys. It all makes sense now. They do all of that work to rescue a woman and then somehow yet, the woman ends right back up with an abusive Chad and waiting for a hero to save her ass again. Funnily enough, if you removed Zelda and Peach from the scenarios, both worlds would be at total peace. Both protagonist and antagonists would be going their own way and doing something much more productive.
