One was really good, amazing, hard worker. Paid her extra.

2 fled away after first criticism.

Mostly had males. No problems.

The ones I've dealt with have been a mixed bag of experience levels and competence, but they did still share some of the same traits.

Sense of entitlement was among the most common. Even the ones that didn't openly say it, they seemed to always have that sense of "well, I'm a female soo..."

Air of superiority was next. Nothing anyone could do was ever good enough to be on their level. Doesn't matter if you laid out exactly why they weren't superior than others, they'd still shove their nose in the air and insist they're better than everyone else.

Drama and backstabbing seems pretty common. If you want to destroy the moral of your people, throw in a bitchy millenial to start he said/she said bullshit.

As for criticism? You can't. Nothing productive comes from disciplinary actions or criticism with them, even if it's meant to strengthen them and allow them to grow into a better employee. You don't even have to approach it from a negative perspective for them to completely shut down.

One in particular stands out -the very second you questioned her or asked her about something she did wrong, or some drama she has started, or called her out on her bullshit, she got this deer in the headlights look -completely and utterly thrown into absolute panic and terror, followed by shutting down emotionally and resorting to tears.

You see, she was perfectly capable of talking shit about other employees, trying to start fights between people, and trying to ruin peoples reputations. She would get all puffed up and full of superwoman while doing it, but the very second she was held accountable, the hamster would accelerate to light speed until the wheel bearings exploded and shut her down entirely.

She's not my problem any longer, moved to another team, but has done nothing but descend further into chaos.

That one in particular made the entire office a living hell. An office that was above and beyond in terms of results and professionalism for years, but as soon as she arrived it all went to shit.

Of course, she's under a spineless moron now, who enables her and allows her to do anything she wants. Who swoops in to defend her at every turn. Probably shouldn't surprise you that she's in a relationship with him.

Overall, they're human beings -they're going to have good and bad traits, but the ones who end up being completely shit employees, are VASTLY more shitty than even the shittiest of the non-female-millennial-variety.

The one I spoke of in particular has created enough chaos for an entire career inside of a few short years. She has destroyed more than one persons reputation, has been directly responsible for at least one termination, and now the entire organization has finally figured out how big of a fuck up they have made with her, and are constantly probing for ways to get rid of her and her fucktoy boss, who have turned into massive liabilities.

Two pertinent questions:

Do you OWN the business in question?
Do you ALREADY have, or expect to soon have "fifteen (15) or more employees for each working day in each of twenty or more calendar weeks in the current or preceding calendar year"

Because if #1 is yes, and #2 is no... then WHY would you want to hire -- or even interview -- women?

It's a little known (but "open secret") fact that if you operate a SMALL business in the USA -- i.e. one with FEWER than the above (15) employee count -- you can "discriminate" all you frigging want (and in whatever way you want, on whatever basis you want) in terms of who you hire (or interview), because the so called "equal opportunity" (Title VII) shit DOESN'T legally apply to your company. (To be sure, someone can ATTEMPT to "sue" you claiming "discrimination" -- but you can get the case almost immediately dismissed {likely with prejudice} without having to answer ANY of the claims/allegations, you simply provide proof that you have {and have always had} LESS than the aforementioned total employee count, that the "regulations" don't apply.)

I've only seen millennial women working with beta male managers, and they seemed to get along, and why wouldn't you when the management team is doing everything to coddle you.
