Any diet that requires you to add nutrients to your body via shots and pills is not good for you.

Same with the standard american diet, where it's accompanied by the handful of multi-vitamins.

I have seen healthy vegetarians. I have never, ever, seen a healthy looking vegan. They all look gaunt. case in point above.

The problem is that a lot of vegans/vegetarians are completely fucking retarded. A diet based on plants is probably healthy if done right. A diet based on sugar is unbelievably bad for your health, but people tend to migrate in that direction. "I don't eat red meat" says the person who is eating 1000 calories of sugar per day.

It's like giving up tobacco and then replacing it with meth.

Veganism doesn't kill you.. as long as you supplement essential nutrients and proteins; to include daily requirements of carbs, fats, and proteins.

but with that said, most people DON'T do this and it will kill you.

Good luck getting pregnant and carrying the baby to term. I knew a vegan she had two miscarriages and the third pregnancy the baby was just under two pounds when she delivered it early.

She of course was on welfare (Bachelor's degree in Psych) so the state paid for ICU neonatal hospital care of this child for the first four or five months of it's life.
