I think you handled it the wrong way.

You should have recorded your conversations and texts and filed a report with the police immediately. This report will protect you legally against any lies she might throw.

Next, you break up with her with your father next to you as witness and mention that you will seek a no contact order of she keeps contact with you.

Finally, do not advertise her craziness at your school. This will only make matters worse.

Now that you know their nature, remember they they are ALL like this, even the quiet ones. You dodged a bullet aimed at your head.

Upvoted for visibility since I’ve seen this same behavior from my own sister. She has physically assaulted my mother and said terrible things to my father (bringing up our dead grandfather). But when I called her out on her behavior, she used her cutting as a way to keep herself as the victim and to divert the blame.

Never once has anyone in the family physically struck her. Her cutting is half for attention and half for keeping herself as the victim in the twisted story she plays out in her head.

For all young MGTOW’s out there lurking this thread, I cannot stress enough the message here. It’s not your duty to save any girl from her own self-destructive tendencies and she will not hesitate to use it against you.

My sister eventually moved out of my parents’ home and it gives me great relief to know that they don’t have to live with such a toxic person anymore. Every time they visit me, I tell my mother and father that I love them. I hope that it reinforces to them that they were fine parents and that my sister is responsible for her own actions and behavior.

I couldnt find anything on girls cutting themselves to control men. So I decided to post this.

The "cutting" is probably relatively new (but keep in mind I'm an old fart so my idea of "new" is the past couple of decades)... and probably more common/likely with a certain demographic (I'd guess most likely "upper middle class surburban white girls").

But I can tell you that the whole "fake drama" (die/kill myself etc) bullshit has been going on for AGES; and it's arguably just a natural/inherent behavioral trait (manipulation tactic) of virtually ALL* women across ALL demographic groups -- all that varies is the specifics, that is the form of the "drama."

* Yes there probably are (or at least historically were) some exceptions -- but that would be girls/women raised in an entirely different "era" and trained to behave in an entirely different manner than females in our present society are.

Wow, that is very manipulative on her part. You came to the right place. MGTOW lifestyle is less about women and more about investing in yourself, improving yourself, and becoming the best possible version of yourself that you can. Also, it's understanding how the law can be used against you by your gf or wife. For instance, she could have called the police on you and you could have been arrested for mental abuse. When you understand the threat that society poses, and live your life in a way that mitigates or fully eliminates those threats, then you're full MGTOW.

MGTOW is not about hate toward women. Many MGTOW are in relationships with women, they just don't marry them or live with them. MGTOW is about loving yourself and putting yourself first. Relationships on your own terms are a bonus, if you don't want to be a monk.

Word of advice to any MGTOW that knows a cutter: turn the photos in to the police. Let it be put on record that she does this sort of thing, so that they can send somebody out, or at least so they know what this thot is capable of doing.

Because if you don't, these psychopathic BPD freaks will be the ones to do this, Duluthing some guy (perhaps even you) for reasons only her messed up mind can figure out, and unless the police know what she does to herself, the guy is fucked.

Cutters cut as a method of emotional blackmaill. They enjoy the worry and concern that their close associations give them when they cut, and the cutting is a way of controlling these people. What they don't want (but what they really need) are professionals, people who aren't close associations, taking an interest in their well being: the police, the doctors, the social workers, and the like. Because she gains nothing with these people, and she can't use her self-abuse to bully them around.

So if a cutter sends you photos, go to the police. The police will keep the photos on file and work to mitigate the danger, probably through social services or a court.

This is nothing new girls did this way back when i was in middle school. People in general easily fall into the victim cult where they start craving the sympathy and attention they get for having problems. These are weak minded people and youre a strong minded young man for not buying into it.

Women who cut themselves are natures way of telling you STAY AWAY. THIS PERSON IS UNHEALTHY. And then when you realize AWALT, then you realize the only way to stay safe is to GYOW and ignore this batshit crazy bitches.

Record all past interactions for any potential legal fallout, cut contact, block, and ghost. Go monk and work on yourself until you cure your vagina blindness.
