Its partly because biologically speaking a tall man has good genetics, if we refer back to the times where almost all labour was physical and physical combat was more important. Simply put a tall and strong guy with a club would mostly beat a strong shoter guy with a club, ofcourse there are exceptions when it comes to different weapons and martial arts (so not only MMA but for example swordman ship ect). Simply put tall signals strong and strong signals protection which in turn makes them more desired by females which want good genetics and protection. That being said in todays society there are not a whole lot of benefits from being tall, other then indeed being seens as more attractive and mabye better at certain sports (but also worse at others). Or atleast we can argue that the biological advantage of being tall in other words stronger and better in combat means not that much anymore when guns, knives, or bombs are in play. So that is the biological aspect of it.

Then there is the social aspect, simply put women are telling themselves but more importantly other women that the men needs to be atleast 6 feet, otherwise you have settled for something less then you should have. Its an arbitrairy thing, but women mostly function on arbitrairy things. Look at jewelry for example, it costs alot, it weighs you down and restrict your movement, only to show that you have some money or whatever. Anyway when I was growing up in the 1990s, men needed to be taller then their women. So a smaller girl would date a smaller guy without any problems, so there was a standard but more relative to the girl itself. Usually something like I need to be shorter them him on heels. Nowadays that has been thrown out the window, cause even the small girls are small queens, meaning they deserve their 6 feet tall knight or whatever. Simply put they just threw up an abirtrairy requirement. Dont be suprised that in a little while men need to have atleast a certain shoe size, or they must have atleast a certain hand size, whatever they can think of in their arbitrairy mind.

Why is it rude to ask there weight? Well since you should not judge them according to them. What they do to men is not judging its just their choice, but when we have certain preferences (which are quite rational, you dont want a fat girl if only purly for the cost of dinner), it is judgement of women. In short they are all queens and they all deserve their perfect men. If you argue that they are not queens you are judging them therefore a mysogist or whatever.

To sum up: Dont bother

being fat means you could've done a number of things to get in shape so asking them their weight reminds them of their lack of determination and resolve to take care of themselves.
