As a father of 2 I can assure you it is not hard to put a coat on a toddler and especially not an infant. She is worried about what people will think oh no cry me a river. If a man was seen with kids sans jacket police would be called.

As for her justification it’s bull. In reality it’s her lazy ass that results in kids not wearing jackets end of story

I'm a father of two. I live in Canada--the cold part where winters can get to -25°C during the warmest part of the day. When my sons were little before we went outside...their snowsuit, their toque, their mittens and their boots would go on--then I'd give them a hug and a kiss, sit them down on the stair (so they wouldn't go running through the house) then my stuff would go on. It takes maybe 2 minutes if it's your first time.
