There are plenty of guys here who casually date/hookup. There's still an inherent risk in it, though. It may not be as high as living with a woman or marrying, but it's still there.

Let's say for example that you have some perceived resource. Maybe you've got money, or a stable career, or a house -anything that some girl might want to secure for herself.

If she knows about those things, or even thinks you have them, even casual dating or hookups can be a risk.

Remember that MGTOW is largely a risk analysis. Is the benefit worth the cost? How exposed to risk are you?

If she thinks you'll fold to her manipulation, things like fake pregnancies, threats of harassment or abuse claims, can be a very real possibility. "I'll poundmetoo if you don't marry me".

Ask some of the dudes on here if they're real. I'll tell you that they are, from experience.

The modern woman, especially the ones caught up in social media and degeneracy, have absolutely no issues with lying and manipulating to lock you down and take from you, no matter how dirty and underhanded those lies may be. They won't care about the consequences, because they won't be looking that far ahead. Her goal might be that house you own, or your paycheck, or whatever else. She'll manipulate you into thinking she's the bee's knees, and if she gets a hint that you aren't going to commit, she might pull out one of those tactics.

Even a casual date. It happens. It can come out of left field from some THOT you only met once, especially the desperate ones.

So I say do what you want -there's nothing wrong with it if that's what you want to do, just be cognizant of the risk and be prepared. If the risk assessment is too hazardous, pull the ripcord.
