However, I disagree with the notion that you either go your own way or a woman tells you what to spend your money on, which is implied here. There's another way, don't be a complete bitch.

There's a common rule you should follow, if the state got involved in it, it's probably been fucked and you should stay away from it. For example, the state in many countries has now got involved in relationships out of marriage such as living together but not married. In that situation you should stay away from relationships and just be pumping and dumping at best. Then the next step which will be forced upon them is a widespread bachelor tax and this will piss off so many men they'll say fuck that and not bother. This will lead to the reset.
