I’m 25 and all my friends are settling down and marrying and I’m the outcast now. In 25 years I’ll be the prophet and retired, riding a jet ski while giving the middle finger.

Mate, I'm 37 never married, childless and avoid relationships like the plague (I stick to pump and dump) and was once in your shoes... let me tell you something.... they'll be back in about a decade when their marriages and relationships all go to shit because she "wasn't happy" or decides to fuck that co-worker who was "just a friend". There is a really entertaining period in your mid to late 30's when this shit just unravels and you'll hear the craziest stories about your friends partners and observe some insane behaviour during the breakups.
Be grateful that you won't have to go through it personally.
In that moment, the tables will turn for you when your friends realize they are fucking miserable, their "love" was all bullshit and that you were right all along in living life on your own terms. My work friends are all married with kids and often say they "I wish I could have u/StormOfHoney's life just for one weekend"
Go Your Own Way, mate. I know it sucked being not invited to events anymore because i'd chosen a different path... but trust me, we win in the end.

It's great to be able to rest on the weekends, guess your friends don't get to do that ehh?
[–]TooAwareToCare5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Especially when it’s a 3-4 day weekend so that I have enough recovery time to enjoy my free time that extra bit more!

No you're gonna be the bro that offers a couch to your friends when they get divorce raped. The guy that has the safe house where buddies can come over chill and not have to deal with the wife for a day. The guy that shows others there is a better way.

Fuck yes

That kid isn't even his.
He can't afford a decent watch.
The house will follow soon.
I bet he will be the one buying your used jet ski.
If he is lucky.
He might even buy your used sex doll.
But that would be already pushing it.
At least he will be posting on IncelTears.
Whenever you're ready buddy you can borrow my shotgun but do it outside.

Lord Of The Rings said it best "One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them..."

Real question is: how much hair do you want in 20 years?
[–]KetoSandwich1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If at the age of 40 you are still worried about what your hair looks like, you definitely have some problems.
[–]Mysterion3201 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
My dad cares way too much about what his hair looks like...And he has a fricking Bald spot!
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Doesn't matter. Genetics decided that I was gonna be bald no matter how relaxed I am. Oh well. Losing my hair sucked at 25, but now that I'm 35 I don't really care. And I like how easy a shaved head is to maintain.

I have a bro with a lot of kids. I'm talking a number above 5. His life is hell. He has become a slave to the kids and talking to him is a chore as he looks like a broken man. Don't have kids guys and if you do make sure you have enough financial cushion and lawyers to protect yourself. It isn't your dad's America anymore, sadly.

It isn't even a form of non-verbal communication towards him. It is just disgust for a man who didn't provide enough. How did she sacrifice her beautiful body and fantastic future for this deadbeat? How did he trick her into such a life?
She could have been anything - a homeopath, a feng shui consultant, a movie star! You can be sure he will pay in full for the damage he has done.
At least the neighbor has some decent baby-making genes.

Speaking of the markets, barring the FOMC speak in a few hours, seems like puts are the way to go.

I relate more to the second guy, when looking at stocks trying to figure out how to make my money back. Trading is a PITA. If only it were so easy...
