Ideally, in a supportive world, I think it can be a very good thing if both people are mature and committed. Yes, we grow and learn a great deal as life goes on, but it can be a shared journey, growing and changing together. This supposes they have been taught to recognize a quality partner and understand themselves. It doesn't mean you got knocked up and married your senior year. Of course, I wouldn't recommend marriage at all these days. Quality women are exceptionally rare and raised for nothing but self indulgence. And any woman is subject to a bad case of feminism at any time. So the question is moot, stay far away at any age.

One guy I know who well didn't marry young but knocked up his current wife at 17 is a fuckwit. He use to give me a lot of shit about being single, until one day in his drunk state he was telling me about how many brothels he visits when on holidays with his friends. I realised why he gives me shit at that moment; he is deeply unhappy with his life and secretly envies me. He probably gets no sex with the wife anymore who just sits at home doing nothing cos their two kids are in school now, he has to work his arse off a a chef to support them all and the house mortgage. His only interest is drinking himself into a coma on weekends, like he will dead set morning drink before games. It's pathetic, I wouldn't want to live like that.

Two hundred years ago, a sixteen year old guy was considered a man. And they got married at sixteen. Remember, they were much more conservative back then, judgemental and being 'proper'. This tells me that culturally approved marriages at sixteen meant men and women were raised differently and were more mature. I think the present is a consequence of the way children's maturity is impaired by snowflakiness and other mal-adapative tendencies taught in schools, tv, etc.
