IMO Black Friday is a scam if you are shopping for yourself. Best to wait until after Christmas when retailers and warehouses are trying to deplete inventory.

Oh, and I'm going to run for about an hour or so, hit the gym, play some drums, and make a leftover sub (as is tradition)

My plan for Black Friday? Stay home. Lol. The people that participate in it are fucking crazy — not saying you are. Because I understand you’re from another country and want to participate and see what it’s about.

With that said, Black Friday is mostly a scam to get people into the stores. People think that almost everything is on sale, which isn’t true in most cases, but clever marketing has them believe that.

And if it is all on sale, they jacked the prices up, beforehand, to make up for much of the sale price.

Also, the great items that are on “super sale,” for like 75% off, are always a ridiculously low limited quantity. For instance, they might mark a PlayStation 4 down to $80, but there’s only like 15 available.

However, something like that will get tons of people into a store, because the “only 15 available” is in teeny tiny print......

And guess what people end up doing once they’re in the store and find out the item they came for isn’t on sale? They buy tons of other shit. Which is what the plan was from the get-go.

I'll be on the road and did the turkey thing Monday. I have never gone out on black friday, but I do enjoy the footage.

With the market crashing I assume the stores won't be packed.

I'll be getting a 4k 60 in TV. Almost 30 and I've never owned anything larger than 32.

But I do not go to bars, dates or weddings, so I can afford to grab a great deal, and have it delivered rather than tussling with soccer moms

It's a holiday for me, so not working. I plan to spend time with my kid; study new things for my new job (I enjoy what I'm learning / doing); take a walk or bike ride on the beach, and whatever else I feel like doing.

Back to school shopping and black friday is when I refresh any tech that needs to be done; I shop online though as I'm not standing in a line to get a thing that honestly I'm probably not seriously needing immediately. I'm not sure if being older has anything to do with it, but I have like a dozen brands that I stick with because they last and have proven themselves to me, so I honestly have very few things to ever get refreshed....

Black Friday for the most part, is a marketing scheme and you’re not really getting the deals you think you’re getting. Example: $250 shoes retail price get marked up to $350 then become “$100 off” as part of the “Black Friday deal”. I only like Black Friday because I like walking around the mall during hours it would normally be closed. I think it’s kinda cool to be walking around the mall at 3am that’s all. I might find a bargain as I would any other time of the year I go to the mall, but the only thing actually special about Black Friday is the mall hours.

A new iPhone, pink, because the "old" one is not shiny anymore
Massage/Spa day to thank her for "all she does"
Expensive faux fur coat that looks like a cheap hooker coat
Victoria Secret shit that looks awful on her size 16 fat pork belly frame
