Hey everyone! I just created an account today so I could make this appreciation post. I know this may come off as a bit dramatic, but this community (&red pill) has changed my life this past month. I’m a 21 year old guy who has been recently facing some girl issues these past months. While casually going through my recommended feed on YouTube, I came across a Youtuber called Coach GregAdams. His video was discussing why relationships are essentially pointless. I was really surprised how the elements coach was talking about applied to not only me, but the many relationships of my friends as well. The video that really caught me was his video about the conditioning of simps. I started to realize how much of a simp I was even in high school just because I was desperate to find “the one”. I use to go out of my way to help people that didn’t really give a shit about me or used me. For instance, I remember how my friends knew that writing essays came natural to me, so the prettiest girls would just ask me to do their essay. And like a naive high schooler, I would do their essays in hopes the girl would give me more attention. Another hilarious experience was when I was 18 and in my English 1A community college class. I was attracted to this beautiful girl. We eventually caught each others’ eyes and decided to even hangout around Christmas Eve. She was a church girl and I thought that meant she was loyal &perfect. Turns out, she would always tell me about how fucked up she was and how older men would always offer her stuff while working. Not noticing the signs, I again tried to be the white knight and tell her she was a beautiful person. Then after our date she posts herself on snap hanging with another dude. Looking back at it now all I can do is just laugh lol! That’s the amazing thing about this community, you can post your stories without feeling ashamed I guess haha. Anyways, I started to binge watch more red pill videos along with other Youtubers such as Coach red pill and Ronin Man. I as well decided to explore this reddit page to hear about the experiences many of you had in relationships and marriages. You guys have helped me realize that I’m the only one who can be in control of my happiness. My biggest fault through these years was being infatuated with beautiful girls to the point I would let them just run over me. Now whenever I’m even talking to a girl that I’m attracted too, I reflect on the experiences you guys had and ask myself “is this worth all the misery in the future”. Then I come to the conclusion it simply isn’t. Sorry for rambling but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for transforming my mindset in life! Right now I’m about to have serious surgery, but after I’m done, I promised myself to cherish the freedom of being red pilled! I remember first hearing about MGTOW on social media in a negative light. I heard you guys were just negative Nancy’s that were finished with life. Now I understand why social media hates this community. The message you guys spread is what they don’t want other men to know. Whenever I go to malls I see men look miserable with their partners and I just wonder what would happen if they obtained this info. I have to admit, the only thing that currently haunts me is the thought of dying alone, but I’m confident that time will help me overcome that fear. If any of you want, can you explain about how you guys overcame this particular fear. I will continue to explore this community further and keep enjoying my life as a single man! Thank again to this whole community and wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Edit: I appreciate everyone’s thoughtful words and supportive advice! I’m sorry as well that this post was stretched out as I’m not exactly familiar with reddit. I will be following this community throughout my years and hope to develop into a better man because of it!
