This is why you don't talk to or engage women beyond what's necessary. Pre MGTOW, had a similar situation with a girl at the front desk of a gym. Friended her and the other employees of the gym on Facebook to get connections to all the local marathons and exercise events like Spartan run. Commented on something she posted that showed up on my feed. Immediately awkward because she decided to make it that way. Could tell she assumed I was after the poon. Didn't want anything from her but 60 seconds of friendly banter, and continued information about the events I mentioned earlier. Dude walks in she knows, and she completely and rudely just stops mid sentence and ignores me to start talking to this guy. I didn't say shit, calmly grabbed my bag and went home and unfriended all the women from the gym, and happily went on with my life.

For a second, let's throw all MGTOW tenants out the window. Even without them, I have learned very quickly at work (I work with 90% women) that as a man, it is just about impossible to be too friendly to a woman co-worker without them misinterpreting it as you wanted to screw them. It isn't as bad with the ones that are married and older than you, but any of the ones near my age group all act like as a man I MUST be coming onto them. It's like, shit, I have issues I am working on, I just got out of a divorce 7 months ago, and I am just a friendly fucking guy.
