The new trends certainly seems to be gearing towards the avoiding women and going your own way.

Eventually it will change to something else. It does bother me knowing that I am just mindlessly following trends but it is what it is.

PUA helped red pill me to a certain extent when I was young but it also taught me a lot of bad things and made me waste a lot of my time

My philosophy on game now is

Get fit and healthy
Have a good income / own place etc
Have a good social circle
Be red pilled and have a minimal amount of game and knowledge

Pick up is like poker, a LOT depends on the hand you have but you need to know some tricks to increase your chances of winning also

Negging seemed to be the easiest 'trick' to use.

Worked from about 2000-2002 but by then girls were aware and eager to call out everything as a 'neg' in attempts to shame you as "one of those guys"

Once they had the hit show on Vh1 the writing was on the wall.

It will never really die but its not mainstream anymore. I had friends who were doing the same shit in the 80s but it was just word of mouth and info shared between guys who liked the club/bar scene.,,,no internet or paid guides/classes. The mindset and strategy are close to the same but the tactics change based on the times and what the girls/women respond/fall for.
