They watch way too much Judge Judy. The vast majority of people:

A. Aren’t intelligent enough to know what it takes to win a lawsuit — even with the guidance of a lawyer.

B. Don’t have the money to sue (it costs quite a bit of money, in most cases). And if you lose, you could end up getting countersued and paying the defendant’s costs.

C. Don’t have legal grounds to sue, or their lawyer hears why they want to sue and laughs — because he knows the judge won’t hear it. You need to actually have a good reason (and legal grounds) for a lawsuit to even be heard by a judge. You can’t just sue people because you’re mad.

D. End up wasting their money, because the lawsuit holds no weight. It takes an immense amount of proof to actually win a lawsuit.

In most cases, the time, energy, aggravation, and money spent is going to be a waste.
