If it was more then 1000 maybe, id focus on my hobbies and live my life. Work is only stressful because of being around certain people. My plan is to pay off all the debt I accumulated over the past few years and maybe start living extremely minimally, only paying rent and phone bill, few groceries and cutting out driving as Trudeau fucked us with this carbon tax.

No probably not, the modern workplace has become pretty toxic, the extra stress does not increase quality or quantity of life. The issue is with "retirement" for many men, there are so many guys out there that don't have a purpose outside of their daily routine/work. So once they stop working after a couple months, many of them start to get depressed and become lost in all the free time they now have.

I think the biggest issue is that most people don't have a purpose outside of what they feel "forced" to do, once they are given freedom from that, they are completely lost and need something to push them to continue living.

I'd love to have the freedom to work on what I enjoy. I will say that not having a woman/family to support greatly reduces my drive to earn/provide.
