but then they check facebook and tinder and all the beta orbiters boost up their ego. it's so constant the validation on social media and the street that their ego begins to believe they truly are hot.

and who doesn't want to believe that fairy tale. its better to be delusional and happy then to be insecure and sad. we all do it, but nothing like the extent women do it.

I like nothing more than telling my wall smashing friends that at 30, with no savings and no tits or ass that they are weeks away from being yesterdays news.

I don't mind a woman requiring such characteristics. Men who dates also have their own set of criteria. Many of them in the dating world, men and women, are superficial. No big surprises there. I'll go as far as suggesting that it makes sense that you want your partner to have a job, but that goes both ways. You don't want to end up paying for everything, whether you're a man or a woman. Nothing wrong with that.

The big problem is that getting in a relationship, especially long-term, is all about compromises. Unfortunately, after a while, you will stop seeing compromises eye-to-eye with your partner. This is when the relationship starts to go downhill and when the shit hits the fan. This is why I accepted the fact that long-term relationship don't work. Therefore, there's no point dating. Happiness doesn't necessarily come from a partner. You also have to accept that.

As a MGTOW, one evening a month, on the 13th day of each month, I celebrate my singleness by treating myself to the restaurant of my choice, alone. I do it on the 13th because I left the house on June 13th 2017. I started that last month. It's a moment during the month I look forward to, that I cherish, that I look up to and the plan is to do that for the rest of my life.

I worked with a woman with this exact attitude a few years ago; she was an obese single parent mother in her 30's. She had no interest in me at the time, as I was not tall enough for her (i'm 5'11 and was still taller than she was).

Fast forward 8 years and I bump into her on a bus (was hard not too... she's large). She is now even more obese, hadn't been on a date since we last spoke, and then starts querying how much I earn and asking me out for a drink.

I was tempted to offer her sympathy sex, but figured i'd end up being #metoo'd or she'd actually physically eat me.
