I think we're seeing the effects of feminism on women's attitudes toward men. Some Feminists are - as Ann Coulter put it so nicely - "angry man-hating lesbians . . ." However, not all feminists are lesbians, but the man-hating aspect seeps into the minds of women who are not lesbians. And I think the lesbians like it when their hatred of men rubs off on heterosexual women.
