Well I did the same for 4 years. Fuck my life. Degree down the drain. From an A+ student to scraping my degree with C+ then failing my masters. I’ll never make this mistake again... just -60K student debt, and 5 years behind in life. At least I’m not married/have children and going through divorce rape of probably paying life time alimony. I guess I fucked up the early years of my life.

Edit: I’m actually in a decent position now. Working a software developer for one of the biggest companies. It pays that I didn’t do a useless degree so even a C- student is sought out. Plus helps I had some good interviews and could show technical aptitude on the spot.

I've made large stupid sacrifices for women too and all I can do when I think back to them is think " what the fuck else did i expect?" . I've written a girlfirneds paper , who later cheated on me .

I wanna say that I'm upset about that but again I have to ask what else did I expect?

You bend over backwards, you give someone a means to coast through life, not work for something they voluntarily enrolled in , you take over all of her responsibilities and .... naturally... She doesn't think twice about it ?

You could say maybe some gratitude should be expected but just like this guy I blame myself , she'd ask for my help and all I'd hear is " The woman I love is in trouble let me fix her every need and want" ... how fucking dumb is that?

No adult on this planet will learn responsibility, develop any sense of self worth , or gain any meaningful growth or knowledge if you coddle and support them through ... well through merely existing .

This is the type of shit I do still feel embarrassed about because I am amazed how little I valued my time and how little accountability and honestly desire to see her actual develop I had.

Working hard has never hurt anybody , We all get stressed, overwhelmed, and stuck on shit . If we want it hard enough we adapt and grow to conquer it if not then maybe failure will teach us that this isn't the right direction for us .

Now this has helped a woman get her masters degree in something she never worked for and may not have had enough interest to pursue but when you have a homework machine of a boyfriend why wouldn't she take full advantage of someone else carrying her to her success ?

Again I have to ask what can go right in these situations where you do someone elses work for them ? Nothing... the answer is nothing .

I was in a similar situation in college... except I watched a woman get bailed out of her own mistakes (not meeting deadlines on our yearbook- she was the editor and was attempting to be sole proprietor of the production) by mutual friends. Anyhow, since she still had a years worth of credits left until she graduated, she decided to go to a different small liberal arts college to graduate, probably because no professor at our college would give her a good letter of recommendation.

Having been there (the other college) as an underclassmen, in her same major, and having a personal relationship with the professors in that department, sent them a letter saying they should contact the other college's professors to verify anything she might say in regards to our published yearbook.

To my knowledge, she hasn't ever been able to use her degree professionally.

Totally relateable. We should learn to develop self respect. My ex went on semester exchange, Always complaining about how she didn't get time to work on her homework and how she is busy and desperately wants a 4.0 GPA. Did her homework for her while my grades suffered. She accidentally told me the truth once while she was drunk that she hanged out with someone else, watched movies etc while I was doing her assignments.

Apperanetly, left me, and is using someone else at the moment. Funny thing is that she is also cheating on the guy she is currently committed to.

I did terrible at college because I went out with a slut who lived for drama. She lived close to the college and had no job or anything to do, so always wanted me to come over to the house.

Obviously she was far more interesting than working and was my first proper girlfriend, I would spend time having sex with her or having her arguing with me.

I did great at school, no distractions. I wasted myself there as I kept going back to her and thinking this is what it means to work through relationship problems. She cheated on me and we broke up but I didn't want to go to college because of how shitty I felt. I ended up taking my final exams and barely scraped through, but it did so, so much worse than if I hadn't ever met her.

I accept this is all my own fault and if I could go back I'd never get caught up in any relationship whilst in education.

Had a similar thing happen with a "friend" of mine. A muscular guy approached me in the gym in november 2016, I taught him most of what I know about bodybuilding and nutrition, got him from beginner to advanced level in strength in 2 years, then in march of this year, he ghosted me, I tried recontacting him later on and he pretended that he was just busy but I know he is lying. Also, I tried talking to him about MGTOW and he seemed to agree but I never managed to 100% convince him because he has a learning disability that makes it impossible for him to understand long texts, so here I was, for 2 years, spending hours talking to him, giving him free information to help him, then he acted like he understood what I was saying, until he confessed that he didnt understand a thing, I can predict he is going to have children and get wrecked by a breakup and have to pay child support for 18+ years. I wasted so many hours of my time on him and that taught me to never do this again, now whenever I message new people, I only text them very little and dont try to teach them about anything especially not mgtow. From my own experience, I have learned that it is best to stay silent about mgtow related topics as it keeps you out of trouble and avoids time wasting activities. Now I just have fun with my life and do what I want to do in my free time, screw helping others if they dont feel grateful.

If you're in the same position, just be glad you aren't in your 40's looking back on decades worth of waste like some of us. Better to lose a little youth and learn, than to lose it all. It is true that the worst regrets are those things we DIDN'T get to do. Unfortunately for some of us, MGTOW communities didn't exist in the 90's and early 2000's.
