My brother has been having seizures since he was a teenager. It is strange because he had one at ten yrs old , then hadn't had another until about 5 yrs ago . From there he started having them more frequently. He went the hospital a few times and those idiots at an ohio hospital kept telling him they couldn't figure out why . He got in a car wreck a couple weeks ago, seized behind the wheel. Went to urgent care center and did some simple tests . Referred him to a specialist. So yesterday he goes to the very same hospital that he went to the other times . He tells the specialist everything about his condition and it's history, the trips to the hospital , all of it . The specialist, a man , freaks out and starts swearing up a storm about this hospital , calling them morons because they never gave my brother an mri . Turns out he may have brain cancer and its the kind where it really needs to be found early as possible . He told my brother only 20 percent survive surgery . He is going for the mri on the 19th . I'm possibly going to lose my older brother of 2 yrs to fucking cancer . I don't care about anything at all anymore . I know it's part of life and ppl die but my own brother? He's only 41 . Too early. If he does go , i will have lost the last companion in my life . We litterally are best friends and do alot of shit together all the time . I accepted mgtow fully quite awhile back and if he does die , then i believe that this will forever haunt me . The only thing i can think about is him not being around. I've dealt with grandparents and uncles , friends dying and it sucked but this hits way closer to home . Has anyone lost their brother at this stage in life ? Any tips on how to power through this ? I really think that this will kill any emotion that i have left , leaving just blank inside . Dead inside. This is not a pity request . Simply a request for tips on mental strength to come out the other side in one piece .
