Hi asktrp, I’m an 18 y/o African American male that lives in the US. I never really had any experiences from girls besides being lied to and led on and I was known as this ugly/nerdy guy at my school. Never good with people so I focused on my education instead

I want to try and get my first girlfriend but it seems kinda hard because I think it’s kinda too late for me since everyone I know had Atleast 2 girlfriends since middle school meanwhile I had none. Now a few years later, I’m a senior getting ready to go to college.

I don’t even think I chose to focus on my studies, it just seemed to be the only option, I tried to have an active social life but everyone just brushed me away and i only actually have one friend.

To describe myself physically I’m about 5’4 maybe 5’5, (I suffered from a growth hormone deficiency and now I’m self medicating with HGh 191 shots to try and grow taller, my dads about 5’9 which is average), I’m on the lanky side and I’m about around 110 lbs the last time I checked. I don’t really have anything wrong with my looks but I am facially lacking and dealing with acne and I have a big forehead and a big nose.

My question is where should I start? How does a socially inept person just start talking to people after he gets brushed off everywhere he goes?
