Constantly I have to deal with people making comments about my stature. I'm not even that small, damn. 5' 8", ~148, 24. Sort of small but really more of an unfortunate combination of thin, youthful and short.

Anyway, I constantly have to deal with people making comments about it. How I'm small. A bitch. Weak. Short. Etc. It really bothers me because there's nothing I can do about it and with how much people mention it, I feel as though it's true that people look down on me in general. Also, how can I feel like any woman would be interested anyway?

Come into work today and the second thing this girl I work with says is "so... are you... do you just look young.. because...you're small? Or... you know..." and trails off a bit. Eventually I tell her my age but remark back asking hers. Immediately I'm met with the whole "oh well you aren't supposed to ask a woman her age" so I pressured her a bit and she wanted me to make a guess. I ignored that and went about my business, to which she needed to ask once or twice more to see if I'd actually guess. Dodged that completely, I don't need an HR file.

Anyway I just find it difficult anymore to give a shit about most people because they are just plain rude for no reason. What do they even think about? Why should I care? I let people off with being rude as hell and generally just mean or shallow, especially considering the fact that most people have quite a lot that I could point out negatively about them. Not sure what to do other than to ignore everyone but I'm nice so I often let them get away with that. I look back and wish I would have had a better quip, or a method of putting it on her, but nope, I just let it happen.
