This brief Old Testament book is a good reading for non-Christians, given all the wisdom and beauty it contains. Essential message seems to me to be that all is futile, so humbly and quietly enjoy the few days you have. Also this:

"I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare."
