Ok they're not robots at all.

Aside from that, all these sex DOLL brothel bannings are great free advertising for doll sellers. A lot of people are not aware how much better dolls look compared to 10 years ago, and at much better prices.

Also, it enters the public consciousness, for men at least, that hey, there's an alternative out there. The standard thing will be for guys to make fun of them outwardly, but inside be thinking, damn, those things are hot, and without all the bullshit.
