I'm not going to risk my life for a woman I don't know. Not these days. I'll call the police and say something is happening at (address) and hang up. I learned the hard way that if you call something in and hang around to give a statement to the police, you might be called in to testify in court and you might be harassed by a private investigator before the trial. This happened to a friend and me when we called the police over a drunk driver who almost hit us.

I heard the last episode of the show Seinfeld covered this topic. After a little research, I came to the conclusion that if you don't at least call the police then you can be accused of negligence. The way things are going though, I wouldn't be surprised if a man who called the police for a woman being raped and didn't intervene is punished more than the assholes who did the raping. I predict this in the European countries that welcome Muslim immigrants and don't want to acknowledge the huge problem of rape gangs. Oh no, let's blame some bloke who was minding his own fucking business who didn't want to risk his safety.

I had two guys trying to rob me at night near a bus stop where 10 women were gawking and obviously knew that they were preying on me. Nobody said anything or called the police. Women don't give two shits about men and will feign sympathy at best.

It's not safe to get involved in other people's disputes.

And it happens all the time that some guy gets it into his head to be the White Knight and gets himself killed or seriously injured in the process. Usually when that happens, m'lady ends up taking the side of her supposed attackers.

No, the thing to do is call the authorities and let them deal with it. They are armed, trained, can easily call for backup, and have the legal authority to handle the problem.

The real outrage here is the attempt to shame us men into sacrificing ourselves for the sake of women we don't even know. Why should we do that in a society which has utter contempt for us and which refuses to give us even a shred of respect or appreciation for the contributions we do make?
