When I was younger I intervened when a girl I vaguely knew from school as getting roughed up by some knuckle dragging scumbag. Took a punch to the face for my trouble and didn't even get a thank you from her.

Knowing women, she probably went and sucked that guy off that afterwards.

From my experience I would have also done nothing.

I've heard and seen white knights (and genuine people that just wanted to help) get confronted by the guy after the girl recants her story and tries to sic her abuser on others.

Then you find out the girl stays with him anyway. They love the drama and the abuse.

Really,this sounds harsh but it's best to do nothing.

A guy that deranged would probably fight someone for butting in and either you'll lose and get beat or killed, or you'll win and the woman you rescued will take the abusers side because that's what she mentally does every time it happens and is willing to deal with it to get his "good" side.

A man beating up kids, I'd but in but a man beating up a woman I wouldn't because women are adults that choose who they are around.
