This is really sad in a way. I mean its your right to have an abortion and you should not be shamed or attacked for it (atleast in my mind, allthough I would consider myself more on the pro life side of thing, in all honesty I find this a very difficult debate and cannot really find my view on this topic). You did not break the law, and you might have made the right and difficult choice to abort the child cause you were incapable of providing to it what it needed. All fine, allthough tragic in some sense. Now simply because you have the right to have abortions and they are a way to help certain people out in difficult situations I can find not conceviable way to celebrate it. Why would you be proud of lacking the personal resposibility to not get pregenant and therefore having quite an invasise procedure (depends at which stage the pregnancy was at ofcourse) done. In my mind if I had to abort my potential child I would be devistated, however I might have made the right choice in those circumstances, and I would be mad at myself for not having my shit together to make sure I would not get pregnante. Just sad and something that should not be celebrated even from a subjective perspective.
