Women use it because men do, and other women see the validation it brings these woman by showing their ass, and join the herd mentality. Everything a woman buys is based on insecurity and same goes for these apps. If Instagram weren't free we wouldn't be seeing the same behaviours although another platform would just take its place. Just another driving force in the hypergamistic society we see today.

Difference is most men dont have to promote fake lifestyles to get other people's validation. They get it through hard work, loyalty, and respect. Which is the opposite of what social media promotes. We live in a Microwave society

They always feel like they need to post workout vids too. Whenever I see a guy post a workout vid, most of the time it’s either because he broke a personal record with his deadlift or bench, or he’s asking for a form check. Whenever I see a woman post a workout vid, it’s either to show off their ass or to seek some sort of validation. A lot of the time they’re just using basic machines or light weights. Nothing I consider impressive. Of course there are exceptions, but I’m just going by what I’ve seen most of the time.

And they all love “boxing” for some reason. And by boxing they mean pad work. I’ve yet to see a woman who “loves boxing” actually spar with someone.

I've also started to flip the genders whenever I can and ask myself how would it look if men did what women did. I most often answer that it's a very negative one.
