like sea weed that has come out of a swamp.
*Ahem* "seaweed" grows in salt water (ocean, marine environment that's what the "sea" part means, sweetie) ... swamps are fresh water and weeds there generally are called algae (or just "weeds").
Not only is she trash -- offering insults instead of valid critique -- but she's a Dumbitch too.

Ohhhhh shit u just burned that bitch intellectually LMAO. Applauds

no, they’re not. in fact to see someone call all freshwater weeds algae or all swamp weeds algae is almost as airheaded as the woman in this post.
[–]DWShimoda19 points20 points21 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If you're calling freshwater algae "seaweed"... then junior it's you that are the "airhead."
Seriously, you can't expect someone to list ALL of the various names... the point is that her little sentence was asinine. (And frankly sweetcheeks, you're as much -- if not MORE -- of an ass for adding your little "bitch-whinge" to the mix.)

I don't know man. The plants that grow in lakes are commonly called seaweed.
It's weird how everyone has a primal fear of seaweed. Grass can be dangerous due to snakes and poisonous insects hiding in it, but your brain doesn't freak out when you touch grass. If you touch seaweed, your brain goes nuts.

I don't know man.
Then it's usually best to not say anything.

Does anyone know what they are actually talking about? What is the color that she is shitting on?

It's some kind of fashion design show and she is one of the judges and she disliked his use of green lace on the garment in question.

No idea.
Why does that matter to you?

Doesn’t matter at all just curious.

Only girls use so many emojis in text. You're behaving like a passive aggressive little girl throwing a temper tantrum.

You would know, right? ]=)

Another interpretation of what he said is "I DON'T GIVE A F-CK WHAT YOU THINK!"....just in a classy manor
[–]801735[S] 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Pretty much, just in a more 'acceptable' way.
[–]jrpark051 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
In a much more devastating and lasting way.
It's similar to the modern day version of the pimp slap, except done in a way that demonstrates unquestioned superiority and dominance over an inferior.
[–]buckybuc6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly
Yep, and the class cuts straight to the bone and stays there.
It may difficult to comprehend in this age, but I've been polite in the face of this, and one of my intentions in doing so is the longer term cut. The idiots get it in their bones, but cannot articulate it. LOL

Reminds me of my favorite quote from history:
"Tact is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip." - Winston Churchill

Mine is from Euripides
beware the well articulated man. He will stab you in the back and dress up the murder with words.
People call it class, but I just see it as a discreet one upmanship. A competition of composure rather than content.
[–]Duchat11 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Thank you for insulting my designs. Your opinion is trash, so by disliking it, you have confirmed it.
[–]801735[S] 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ah, yes, yup.
This is the double-edged sword of civility: the idiots see it as weakness, but it is strength and discernment on steroids.

“She showed her” wat? It’s a guy and a girl
[–]Omnibrad32 points33 points34 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
She showed her lack of class.
The lack of class is hers. She showed it. He didn't show it.
[–]AKidWhoLikesFishing7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ah gotcha I thought they intended to say he showed it by his response
[–]DWShimoda3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
More in the sense of "she revealed her... lack of class."
[+]801735[S] -12 points-11 points-10 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, typo apparently. Nice catch.
[–]jrpark052 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is one thing I disagree with the people that say "nice guys finish last", because I believe what they mean is that being polite and kind is an exploitable weakness, and therefore kind and/or polite men finish last.
As someone is kind and polite, this couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm polite and kind because I do believe in treating people with respect, give people the benefit of the doubt. There is also a strategic component, however, because it is easier to see the real character (at least for me) of someone. For me, by being this way my eyes, ears and senses are WIDE open.
I also believe in civility and gratitude like this man above, not because I'm a pushover, but because I believe in order, and it is easier to tell the idiots from the smart ones, another way to separate the wheat from the chaff. What I find today is that the chaff/wheat ratio is 99/1.
So no, "nice" (see the idiocy in the misinterpretation of this) guys do not finish last, because I certainly haven't finished last.

She's the doofus seaweed doesn't grow in swamps that would be a salt marsh.
