Not really, he wanted to kill himself because his dog died. She just intervened in his suicide by monster, and prevented him from ending it earlier. So he saves her, but returns to his death wish and does the same thing he wanted to - dies.

To be fair, he was on the brink of killing himself. If anyone remembers plot of the movie, he is despertely trying to find a cure, survive and find others. In his spare time he makes friends with manekins and role-plays relationships and talks to his dog. Well, one day he captures "wife" of a monster boss... this boss then retaliates by moving will's manekins and sets a trap for him, which results in the dog getting infected and will having to kill it, he is done after that. He wants to die, and when he is just about to be killed as per his wishes, he gets saved by a woman with a child. Her presence isn't really important. She doesn't follow his safety protocol which leads the monsters to his lair, but it really doesn't matter very much for the overall plot. The monsters aren't there for the woman and child, they are there for him, and him trying to off himself earlier is basically just prolonging the inevitable, he saves the woman, but he already decided he wanted to die... the cure was a spoof, he didn't care anymore about the cure, he would've saved her cure or no cure, because he wanted to die and she just postponed his death.
Personally I thing Constantine is the perfect MGTOW movie, the main protagonist couldn't give two shits about the "love interest" and he frequently tells her to f-off, and even at the end, when the "romantic kiss scene" should happen, he still tells her "bye" and has no interest in a relationship.

lol... what we do to dogs aint right. they are social pack animals. imagine if some alien came by, took you away from your family and your species, cut your balls off, and then imprisoned you in its alien dwelling only allowing you access to the alien and nobody else... and then the alien calls you his "friend" ? Shit's worse than what women do to men. Not by a lot... but definitely by a little. The disgusting casual way we excuse it with the same level of narcissism and hypocrisy.... dismiss the horrible things being done as if "oh that's just how things are"... That is EXACTLY the same.

i'd say neutor the last generation of domestics and call it quits. the breed will be gone within 15 years.

What about the service dogs? Dogs have been mans best friend since ancient times, they evolved to become part of normal human culture. A lot of dogs helped humans early on in hunting, and now dogs have become a part of the family for most people. I don’t have a dog but seeing others’ it seems like dogs don’t mind the humans

back in the day when they were free to roam large estates with mates and had puppies and they werent neutored, that was totally cool... but it has evolved and become very different.. very very different than the original concept. nowadays most dogs are locked inside small homes, sometimes inside crates all day and night, while the owner is out to work. most dogs nowadays are neutored and their lives are really messed up.. this is cruel.

But again, most dogs, not the few that are actually in cruel conditions, the ones living in a normal household with enough freedom and a family of humans that loves it, they don’t seem to mind it. They love their owners, and the owners live em back. If the dogs don’t think it’s cruel who are u to tell them it isn’t right. Most owners take good care of their dogs, they have them cleaned, given shots to prevent it from sickness, protect it from the wild life they otherwise would have if they didn’t live with humans. Sure, yea it suppressed their hunting instincts and changed The Whole lifestyle for a dog, but for the most part dogs seem to like it.
Idk much about neutering dogs though. Never had one
