She's skirting the issue at the heartof the matter, whether intentionally or because she's in denial, I can't tell.

Here's the issue, she has to make sure lots of people like her, especially men because it's so much easier to make it when everyone else is working to make it easier for you. Because she can't stand the idea of actually doing it on her own, so she's trapped by her fear and refusal to carry her own weight by herself. That means she, to some degree, has to cater to men to keep them happy. The best, easiest and most reliable way to keep men happy is through sex and the implicit offer of sex. Except she doesn't want to have sex with all of those men, just some of them, but she has to at least implicity offer it to enough of them to ensure she has all her contingencies met which risks A) she'll lose smv by association, or B) be called to pay by some asshat who doesn't understand the game.

In her mind, she shuold just recieve all those benefits from others without any obligation in kind.

Women's "mind" is seriously 10 times more "sex-centric" than men's, it's kinda disgusting. While some men are too much into this too, most of the timea man that flirts also care about companionship, having a good, and being close to someone, physically and mentally, sex aside. Of course the sex is also a part of it but the very fact that they can ONLY see the sex part and nothing else tells you everything you need to know about women.
