She has her ex heavily on her mind. There probably is no 'space' for you to really get in there (into her mind/heart) and work your magic.. but of course, I could be wrong. You could certainly plow, but I don't think it will be an LTR. Her head is not out of her last relationship.

I'd advise you to get out of the frame of "were my responses good?". This isn't a classroom - do whatever you want. Say what you want. Anything will work, with the right person. With the wrong person the best chosen lines won't work at all. Good luck.

In my opinion she is just seeking some kind of validation, and or a BP concerned guy. Since you are here I will assume you are not BP. So just ignore her ex references lead the conversation where you want.

First things first, they are bringing up their exes because you are turning into their girlfriend. Chatting it up on Tinder isn't going to get you laid. You need to be setting up a hangout within a few messages. For example, this is the Tinder convo I had yesterday, which led to hanging out tonight:

Me: Hey ____, what's going on?

Her: blah blah blah, you?

Me: Not much over here. We should get dinner this week

Her: Sounds like a plan, just let me know when

Me: I'm free tomorrow. Let's go to ____ around 8

Also, if either were LTR potential, they wouldn't be bringing up their exes before the first date. So they are disqualifying themselves, which gives you the green light to get aggressive. If you're looking for a LTR on Tinder, you've got to play the long game and disqualify potentials early and often.
