This is meaningful and twisted at the same time. It’s this twisted logic that has men thinking if it takes all his money and time and energy to even have a chance of making a woman happy... then the reward will be worth it.

Sometimes men need to prioritize their life and manage their time properly. Struggle and hardship can be good. But sometimes you can also appreciate something that’s easier and simply takes time or patience. Not everything requires hardship in order to have value. That’s a slave mentality.

A man must aspire to have a noble or master mentality. He should aspire to truth and other virtues which guide his life and provide him with the bounty that makes life worthwhile.

This sounds like something a slave master would say to slaves.

While there is good in this saying, the good is being used improperly to get men to accept bad deals (to man up and pay for someone else to enjoy life).

Opposition and hardship isn't what we want at all and it is certainly not meaningful. It is the result of said hardship that is meaningful.

If we could get the result without the hardship, the hardship is meaningless.

However, nothing in life is both easy and satisfying, that is for certain (else we would all already have it). But this quote is about getting men to accept hardship without considering if the result is worth it or not.

To push people to risk there lives to slay the dragon without any rewards. So the rich guy can get free labor.

Aka man up and work the shitty jobs for low pay and spend your life pleasing your nagging wife to help make me rich and happy. When you realize that you were ripped off, it will be to late and you will be easily disposed of.
