When you're a kid you're adaptable. But when you grow up you tend to follow a track. As the years go by, everyone moves further away from each other on their own tracks and it gets harder to find common ground to build a friendship on. Plus men in relationships have almost no free time.

If we want relationships that are more than shared subreddit then maybe we have to do more than share a subreddit.

Fuck if I know though dude, I'm terrible at making friends. Can make plenty of acquaintances if sufficient intoxicants are involved but they tend to be transient.

Here's my take on it: As adults, our time is essentially rationed out. If you work a full-time job, have to support family, or deal with a wife or relationship, your "free" time outside of all this is very limited. The best way that adults make and keep male friends among all this in my experience, is to meet others engaged in a recreational hobby or any other free-time activity you do. Meet fellow sailors, artists, hunters, swimmers, activists, hobbyists, church/synagogue/mosque/religion members, etc. With that, you ALWAYS have something to revolve a friendship around. This works for me personally. My 2 cents, mate

Men are naturally tribal and competitive. Tribalism has been broken up by the superstate. It's now labeled toxic masculinity.

I make friends based on interactions. I'm real and sincere, I don't do fakery and I don't search for someones company other than enjoying their company. I make new friends, I make new acquaintances.. it's how you stand in life and how you communicate... Be sincere and be clear in your boundaries and you will attract people that are like yourself..
