Yes and it's getting worse by the day. Right now the 3 month pays more than the 10 year. I see a slowdown, but no recession.

If the Fed keeps reducing their balance sheet then, yes. They are sucking billions out of financial markets every month. That's deflationary, hence the terrible ISM reports, the stock market sell off, Baltic dry index (trade) being very low, consumer confidence, etc. Peeps are now positioning in long bonds and selling short bonds to prepare for a recession.

Everyone's expecting it to come soon so I'm assuming that the market gets pumped for a bit while longer. Fed has more than 2% of rate reduction to play with AND they still are toying around the idea of using QE as a normal monetary policy tool. All of the recent economic data coming out is pointing to a recession but BTDippers are still coming out strong, mostly because of Fed dovishness. Fundamentally things have been shit for years, but QE allowed the markets to inflate to ATHs. There's nothing to prevent the Fed from going full blown QE again in their MMT doctrine.

You're too early if you're trying to move to cash from your equities. We need at least a full quarter of inversion after which we have a small sample of models show consistent recession result in a 12 month timespan. That is a lot of time to make money. Lots of cash to be made right now as we try to push through resistances into new ATHs.
