I always thought these men avoided relationships because they just aren't attainable without money. In Japan, you basically have to work yourself to death to succeed and when you do you aren't home enough to enjoy that family you made. Many men just don't even bother and pursue hobbies instead. I don't think they are red pill. I think they just understand that a good relationship isn't feasible under current conditions. It's much easier to watch anime of cute girls with huge boobs in your spare time then it is to kill yourself in the office for a woman you won't see much.
