I'm a business owner myself and so often watch "The profit" TV show. In each episode, the entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis offers a capital investment and his expertise to struggling small businesses in exchange for an ownership stake in the company. If you're interested in running a business, it's a great show overall.
Anyway, something I've noticed about all the females who appear on the show (either female business owners or employees) - They all without fail start crying and/or have a full on crazy meltdown whenever they are asked business questions or are asked to make a decision about something. There was one episode in which the female owner would break down in tears in every single meeting and run out of the room dramatically. Every time, there was no clear reason what she was so upset about. The best way to describe it is DRAMA. In all the episodes where the owners were women or women were key employees, nothing ever got decided, no real action was taken and lots of deals fell through due to flakiness and drama by the woman in question. So much time was wasted not only by the woman doing the crying but by the whole company because then everyone had to run around comforting her instead of doing any work.
Why do they always have to break down in tears and be so overly dramatic about everything? None of the men do this. I've never seen a male business owner act like this on the show or in real life.
Now that I've noticed this, I can't unsee it and they're ruined a really good show. I also watch "Dragon's den" and "shark tank" and often the women start crying on there too. JFC.
