In your mind, what are your favorite books that have helped you improve in areas like health, fitness, money, business, travel, minus topics about women* (like The Manipulated Man, Men On Strike, ect). What were some things you learned in the book?
I'll start with a few of my favorites:
- The Subtle Art of Not Giving An F. A big takeaway was that I should live life assuming that I am responsible for EVERYTHING that happens to me. I can't control anything else.
- Economics In One Lesson. Opportunity costs are a bitch. In every choice I make, there's more loss than gain. The good news is that puts all big decisions into context.
- Man's Search For Meaning. My life is great and I have absolutely no right to complain.
*I say minus the women stuff because I'm simply doing my own thing without considering anything else. It's kind of like how some of us don't use Facebook, but don't make it a focus in life. If I met someone who only talked about "not being on Facebook" I would be suspicious as it would seem to take a lot of his focus for someone who claims to not consider it. The same is with women; I've read topics on men and women in the past, but got the message and find the topic boring.
