[–]omen_tenebris2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've had in high school. Guy is a faggot lol, so barely counts.
[–]wigglybone-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
i don’t understand the correlation; is it not a mans choice to apply to become a teacher? are you insinuating that there’s a woman privilege in the teaching career, as if men get rejected from teaching jobs specifically because they’re men?
[–]Did_I_Die11 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
it takes a child's mind to teach children full time.

Best comment in the thread right here.

It's an extremely hazardous career choice for men. A single accusation and their career and reputation are destroyed. On the other hand, women apparently can't be paedophiles or rapists, so yes, there's a privilege.

International mens day is on the same day as international toilet day coincidence I think not, as for international women's day it's just that. What totals cunts at all levels of society.

Lol what the fuck, I just looked this up and they're coincidentally the same date, 11/19. This is one of the few supremely fucked up things I've actually laughed at in a long time.
Like who fucking does that?

It speaks volumes about the way men are viewed
[–]pumpers-like-to-pump4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I agree wholeheartedly but, at 49% of the population and up until recently, the major financial holders, political power brokers, media influencers, bread winners, etc, etc, we weren’t always viewed this way. Weaker men than us have ALLOWED this to happen. I don’t know why or how, but wtf happened to previous generations where they abdicated their masculinity and their ability to “control the narrative?” As a millennial, all I’ve ever known is growing up trying to empower girls. “Fight like a girl!” “Equal pay!” A constant focus on girls excelling and leaving boys to; not only be educationally, emotionally, and culturally malnourished, but shouted down and demonized if they ever dared celebrate their “manhood.” It’s not just women viewing us this way. Who are these self-loathing men with society’s ear, infecting the mainstream with this vitriol of toxic masculinity?!?
[–]PorkBomber5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
we weren’t always viewed this way.
Men were ALWAYS viewed as tools and slaves to keep the plantation running. Men's lives have always carried less value than women's lives. Read about male disposability. It just wasn't as obvious as today.
The top men were excluded from this to a certain degree. The human society hireranchy was basically 10%-20 men at the top, women in the middle and rest of the 90-80% men at the bottom. Now its women everywhere and men are just out of the picture.

International mens day is on the same day as international toilet day
While this seems bad at first glance, lets look at it more...
I'll go out on a limb and say that modern sanitation has saved more lives than just about anything else, and kept sickness from spreading. Toilets are a big, big part of that.
I'll also state that men have done more to raise the standard of living, have saved more lives, and have done more to advance our modern world, than any of the other genders - however many we have at last count.
[–]Dajork5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Okay. If what you say was true, and these are indeed fair points, why is it International Toilet Day instead of, I don't know, International Sanitation Day?
[–]Idiot_Savant_Tinker4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I don't know, but I'd guess it's because toilets are the most encountered part of the sanitation system. They were, of course, invented by a man )

that's where "the John" name comes from:
"In 1596, a flush toilet was invented and built for Britain's Queen Elizabeth I by her Godson, Sir John Harrington. It is said that she refused to use it because it was too noisy. The first patent for the flushing toilet was issued to Alexander Cummings in 1775."

Funny how feminist and all that crap keep telling us that a single mother can raise a child. The problem isn't raising a child alone, because it has already been proven that a single person can raise a child. The problem that they act like they don't see is: does a kid really want to grow up with a single parent or be able to pass time with both his mother and father.

No idea where that comes from. This site says that there are/were at least 18 million in the U.S. alone in 2016.

Isn’t the fifth of July the annual Father’s Day?
[–]guxiganx[S] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It’s celebrated on March 19 for many European countries

My favorite is when feminists try and hijack father's day in the name of "strong independent single mothers". It's an instant unfriend on any social media and I'm pretending I don't know you if I see you at the mall, bitch.

Mad respect for the single fathers on this sub!! I'd lose my mind in that situation. You're stronger than I.
Go your own way, brothers!

Perhaps the reason why only 1 out of 5 fathers gain custody is because Women tend to initiate divorces in the first place? Just a thought.
