You know very little about divorce. It's ok I've had one and did things properly and ended up with a pretty fair deal.
So, since he was (probably briefly) married -- one of those "starter" marriages (college or shortly thereafter, no kids, no real assets, etc), and was able to get a clean break straight-forward divorce (but again, no kids, no real assets, etc); he's 100% certain that he'll be able to repeat that experience with the NEXT marriage/divorce.
I now several guys who thought that way... ended up getting MASSIVELY fucked over later on (with kids, assets, etc).

If it was even that much... if in fact he even had any positive net worth at all.
The majority of young twenty-something people generally don't have a proverbial pot to piss in that isn't "leveraged" or rented/leased.
And of course the BIG kicker is the "no kids"... because "alimoney" is rare -- with short "starter" marriages (sans kids) it's virtually non-existent.
The guy doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground... his early "experience" with an "easy" divorce will eventually come back to haunt him.

From what I've read before, there was a statistic that said only 13% were "happily married". So half end in divorce and out of the rest there's an almost 1 in 10 chance of being happy. Sounds like shitty odds to me.
