I mean, honestly, what the fuck did they expect Peewee to do here? You've got a fairly decent faction of the past three generations that are all unhinged, isolated, mercilessly taunted, outcasted and treated as subhuman. You've got entire sections of society that have been raised by single mothers and the Internet or both. These sorts of incidents and acts aren't the result of frustration or anger or jealousy. It's because society has effectively brainwashed a great number of young men into believing they only have worth if they meet certain parameters and these men base the entirety of their self-worth, confidence, self-respect and mental state on what women think of them.
And if you're below average, or even just average, that's a sad state of affairs to be involved in because women see you as nothing more than a wallet and treat you like scum. Men who feel worthless and are infact TOLD throughout their entire lives that they are worthless become desperate. Society puts so much goddamned weight on relationships, 'love' and sex that many men fall into this very same pit. Men who become desperate will do desperate things or will fester in mental illness and depression. Desperate things like homicide, suicide, violent acts, arson, self-harm, vandalism, etc.
It's really no fucking mystery, at least to me. These incidents will become more prevalent and more severe as society continues to decline. More and more men will begin to feel and be told that they are essentially worthless. It's not a 'three pipe problem' to figure this shit out. Most often I find that when society finally starts to figure some shit out and maybe get around to advocate or address an issue, it's shit that I already saw coming down the pike years ago and already addressed in my mind.
I mean, for fuck's sake, look at the drug war. I had that shit figured out when I was 16. Society is still kicking the fucking can a little further down the road, looking at eachother with the 'huh?', pointing fingers, collectively shrugging their shoulders. It's frustrating as shit.

Very interesting take. I definitely agree with you. I've done plenty of research on mass shooters, serial killers, serial criminals in general and infact I've seen some information floating around that is restricted, very hard to find or outright gone from the Internet.
It seems to me like it's a sort of 'perfect storm' and that extends to arson or even petty crimes like robbery. Some people commit these acts out of desperation, others out of frustration, others out of greed and others out of hate, some for gratification. However, in general, I'd argue that when looking at typical criminal psychology, it's usually that 'perfect storm' set of factors contributing to it and it's often many, if not all, of the motivators I listed above.
I think, due to the cost and difficulty of obtaining healthcare in the US and especially mental healthcare, most of these guys have all of these issues and frustrations building up in their heads for a good portion of their lives. Things that, if dealt with and addressed on their own, they would be just fine and they'd be able to go on as a functional person. But that collection of all of those things at once: mental illness, debt, personal insecurity, lack of social success, lack of professional success, lack of sexual success and of course layered on top of instability, societal pressures, everyday stress, childhood trauma, substance abuse, lack of morals, etc. These people are essentially time bombs and society at large continues to run down the timer even faster. Banning guns or hurtful words won't stop it. This is like a force of nature now.
I seldom can see a person, even a criminal guilty of some disgusting, depraved act as wholly evil. I'm not naive enough to think that. I know too much about it to think that. Even Adolf Hitler, despite all that he did, probably had his finer points. I wouldn't know. I never met him. But genuine psychopaths such as James Holmes and Ted Bundy are very, very good at compartmentalizing their lives. To have met one of these guys on the street, in the grocery store, in the coffee shop, at the bar, on one of their 'off' days? You and I likely would have never suspected a thing. Quite commonly these type of guys come as a shock to the public when their deeds are unraveled because almost EVERYBODY who encountered them liked them, said they were nice, pleasant, unassuming people that acted normal.
Of course, don't get it twisted. I'm not saying that evil doesn't exist in these men. It certainly does. And I think it's attributed to that 'perfect storm' of circumstances. I think they get caught in that whirlwind and often turn to their acts as a way of coping, releasing frustration or just 'getting back' at those they think have wronged them. We can't talk to most of these guys now but many, in interviews, described that at various points they did feel regret and they were fearful and that they wanted to stop. But their neurochemistry was wound so tightly by that point that they couldn't stop. That's my theory anyway. I'm not college educated nor am I involved in the criminal justice field, but I find the human condition to be fascinating.
Likewise, I think we've already seen the first rumblings of a total societal collapse. To those in the know or even just those who care to pay attention [apparently very few], it's not difficult to pick out the signs. The dominoes are ready to tip, the dice are shaken and ready to fall, the pendulum has been pulled back. And it's held there at one end, precariously, tenuously, waiting to swing back around like Saturn ascending. I give it 20 years before shit really gets dire. I'm not afraid though. Buy an SKS rifle, a few spam cans of surplus 7.62 from the Czechs, a gas mask and some MREs. Those of us that know and are watching might be able to survive the initial hit and watch the fires burn and the smoke rise. Who knows how long after that. Depends on your resources or what you're willing to do, or what other are willing to do to take them from you. There's no way to mitigate it, adjust the sails or switch course. It's too late for that. The end of watch is coming.

A large portion of people actively pine for the good ol days where everyone had death and starvation as a motivator. The fact that all that pressure is weighing you down isn't proof that the system is abusing you, to them it's proof you don't deserve to exist. I'm fairly convinced there will be an autistic/incel genocide in the next quarter century.

I'm not sure why you were downvoted, because it feels like you spoke the truth. However, I think the reason is likely that we aren't included with the "incels" here, but rather society as a whole (read: women and simps) like to conflate the two incorrectly, because it eases the cognitive dissonance in their minds.
When in reality, incels are people who very much want and desire to be accepted into society. The pine for the chance to meet whatever female they've made up in their imaginations. They are so twisted in their ways because they have attributes which causes society to reject them, in turn damaging their psychological state.
MGTOW is not a defined "group" of men, in terms of quasi-quantifiable aspects like success, athletics, attractiveness, social status etc. Rather, it is a group of men who are associated only by their polar opposite approach to society. MGTOW are men who have rejected society, because the they have seen that the game is rigged and the juice is not worth the squeeze.
Now, are there overlapping attributes in both groups? Sure, just how there are overlapping attributes between insects and elephants -both drink water, but that doesn't mean they're the same.
You may have the cliche "appearance" that folks have described incels to have, and still be MGTOW. You can also have the appearance of Chad and still be MGTOW.
The difference lies in the need for society vs. the rejection of society, and in my personal opinion someone who has an insatiable thirst for a need that is not being met is far more likely to be unstable and unpredictable than someone who prefers to not be inconvenienced.
