Chris Gardener has a few seminars on YouTube worth watching. He goes into detail about how it really was. His son couldn't even talk yet when he went through all this. Society doesn't care about men, even when we have to go to war to keep it standing.

Being an anonynous random angel for the destitute is deeply fulfilling. After the universe has given them all the signs that, in the words of Biggie, they are "a piece of shit (on the sidewalk) it ain't hard to fuckin tell," ya come through on the low with the loving essentials because some out there don't want their brother to rot.

Probably the most heart wrenchingly pure, intense emotional peaks of my years are those few moments. Just a few things out of nowhere, according to what there needs seem to be, and the love you receive back is so pure; it's a refined, pure love transaction. Good shit.

I feel you on this scene, man! The humbled love on display is so pure!

This is a really good movie, and one of Will Smith's best. One of his best performances, too.

My brother and I saw this in theaters when it premiered and cried manly tears afterward.
