Only confirms what I’ve known for years, fellas.

No matter what you do, it won’t be good enough.

You can work yourself into an early grave so that your wife, kids and even the god damned cat can live a comfortable life. Not good enough because you aren’t “present.”

So unless you do everything flawlessly and make her “feel” how she wants to feel at any particular moment (and note that how she wants to feel is an ever moving target) then you are not present, dismissive of her needs or whatever bullshit is put forth in that article.

All my LTRs monkey branched after a few years and it certainly wasn’t because I wasn’t present or mindful of every subtle emotion. I was present just like the article describes. So, why did they leave? Because I was acting like a supplicating beta with no balls. Which is why chad appeared when they decided that ‘Sensitive Simon’ wasn’t the type of man they wanted after all.

God huffpost is almost as bad as buzzfeed. Not to mention that the "author" of this article must of not gotten the memo that women are incapable of the same kind of love like a man has.

By the time it's all said and done, they will have a list of 500 "reasons" it's really laughable at this point. However, I don't see them taking any responsibility on their end. How they could help improve the relationship. What they can do to make things better. That they would rather leave and hop on to the next rather than work and improve the relationship for the one they "love" lol what a fucking joke.

Necromancy, but Jesus this article hit me in the balls. I remember coming home after being at the office for 10 hours and being told "I had responsibilities" when I got home (which of course went beyond paying for literally all our living expenses). My ex used to make so many of these complaints, except back then I was dumb enough not to realize the nihilistic impossibility of her demands. Thankfully I know better now.
